Hi Guys! I'm looking for Software Engineer positions across the US(Except Bay Area). I've 1 YOE with C#, SQL Server, Azure. Looking for good technical challenges, decent WLB and benefits. Don't need sponsorship. Please roast my resume. Would appreciate any referrals too :) #tech
Looks pretty solid.
use metrics to really show the impact your work made
If somebody really cared enough they could identify you based on the resume...
florida man got roasted for resume
Why a man? Can be a woman/girl?
Can also be neither of that, but you’re missing the joke, sucks to be you.
i like how clean it is
Move to sans serif
You worked somewhere for over a year and only have 4 bullet points. There has to be more to talk about, fill out the page
Lol wat? Who is going to read that? If you have 10 years, then 10 pages?
@microsoft, NotSEI’s point wasn’t to fill a page per year but rather to fill the 1 single sided page so that there’s less wasted space (I agree)
Go Gators!
work experience comes first, education next, skillz last. also, is selling stuff on ebay relevant to the position you are targeting? focus on what matters for the job. you don’t need to inflate your resume. just highlight things that matter, remove crud.
Couldn’t agree less about the eBay stuff. It shows initiative and autonomy, in the absence of more SWE experience, its great to have some color that shows some of your skills outside of coding
I thought skills go first as it's the most important thing for recruiters knowing whom to match
Typo in Avairy
As a hiring manager, this lack of attention to detail would cause me to pass. It's literally spelled differently on adjacent lines
