Please roast my resume. Every job I apply to leads to rejection. Idk why I even apply to company careers pages, given they have not gotten me 1 callback or interview. When recruiters or non-tech people reach out, it all looks good on their end and then the technical manager or some other technical person just immediately says "nah". 2 months looking and not even 1 technical screen. What jumps out at you where you would just say no to my resume? #resumereview #resume #jobs
Honestly, it looks like a pretty junior resume. You have a collection of contract gigs. FAANG+ just laid off 1000s of more experienced more desperate engineers.
Thats what I don't get. Is 4 YOE really junior? Also some of those job responsibilities I personally wouldn't trust with what I define as a junior engineer. Or maybe I'm crazy?? And for contracting, its not like I didn't do anything. I was actively working. Theres higher paid more "experienced" engineers that coast and ship nothing.
