Thinking of choosing a name Aria for my baby boy.
First time, moved to my own space. Earlier i stayed at a shared place so owner paid electriccity.. I run 5 monitors, three laptops and in evenings light till 2 am. Mine is studio and 700 sq.ft I do run Dyson space heater for long hours as I can't tolerate cold weather . Then washing machine(once in two weeks) and cooking stove (once per day) But super shocked to see 254$. also, I see third party electric 92$. What's that? #misc
Super cheap by PGE standards.
For a studio of 700 sw.ft and a single guy?
Yes. PGE sucks. 3X more expensive than Santa Clara power.
That's what I'm gonna do..
254 for two months is cheap here. Ours is 250/month on a good efficient month
Not two months. First month only 18 days as I moved in mid month. But yeah, overall for March and 18 days of Feb
Check daily breakdown to see if there was any historical projections made. Sometimes those predictions can be made based on historical consumption, and those consumptions could be higher than your real usage. We had an issue last year when our meter was swapped with the apartment next-door. after filing a service report PG&E identified the issue and we got a refund five months later.
It's pay for usage. Gas prices are obviously way up. Your space heater is running 1k to 1.5k watts so going to be expensive.
😭 thanks for mentioning..
ditch the space heater and wear more clothes?
I have acne on my back. I can’t wear jackets. In fact I go out with just one layer in California and I got used to it. I tried accurate and it’s known for causing depression in people. Sorry I just ranted out. Yeah, I will cut down space heater
PGE is a corrupt, money sucking organization. That's a normal bill.
Pretty normal. Mine went as high as 450. Gas prices are way higher now
Dyson space heater is your problem. You want cheaper bill. Don’t use electric heat.
Yes
Mine is $750 per month lol
Get solar, ditch gas
Unfortunately a lot of appliances in my house are gas powered -- central heater (2850 sqft house), tankless water heater, fireplace, dryer, cooking range
