Manager from Snap chatted with me and said he would like to move ahead with interview process. He mentioned first would be phone screening and then 5 interviews at onsite. For those who have interviewed with Snap before, was the phone screen a coding interview? This is for Sr. Mobile app developer role. TC - 100K YOE - 7 Current location - LA
Yes. It would be a technical phone interview. Look at graph traversal problems
Yes. It's not difficult at all. It's a G hangout video chat. The call started with the interviewer explaining his/her background. Then you tell the interviewer about your background and experience. It takes about 10min to get to know each other. They use hackerrank as a shared coding pad. The coding last about 40min. And then 10min for your questions.
Correct, purpose of phone screen is to determine if you would do well onsite. Study hard, your TC will probably triple if you get offer 😉
Apparently yes: https://www.rooftopslushie.com/request/Snap-Software-Engineer-Interview-79
