Like Switzerland or Portugal. I am not saying they should. And I do think marijuana should be legal. But her logic is just spurious.
I agree with your statement on the logic. On the issue, removing it from federal would essentially keep it as a state by state issue. Currently it is both. I put the poll to see if the issue has support or not because I can understand not everyone would want it legal. All drugs should be legal. But if you commit a crime as a result of using said drugs (as is the case with DUI laws today) then you should face the full consequences of your actions via the justice system.
