why should only liquid investments count?
Similar argument to why ESOPs are paper money and shouldn’t be part of TC. Non-liquid investments aren’t readily available for cash-ins. Unless you are about to encash your past non-liquid investments, most people avoid counting non-liquid assets as part of their net worth.
strange. people always count non-liquid assets, particularly property. no counts paper money and understandably so.
