Possible impact of TikTok acquisition on MSFT stock?

It’s been a few years since we’ve renamed OCS, Lync, Skype, Teams... so we need this!

I get your point but TikTok is also getting a lot of traction, especially after Zuck recognized it as one of FB’s main threats in front of Congress. It will all depend on how shareholders respond to a possible acquisition imo.
Even for ByteDance I don't think Tiktok was making more than 50% of their revenue. Microsoft buying is definitely a win but they're just so big already

What happens to people working at tiktok and their stock? What about Lark?
I assume it would be similar to LinkedIn’s acquisition. They’ll get their stocks transferred to $MSFT.

Because Microsoft already has a social network for professionals called Linkedin. Tiktok will get them social network for youngins.

Most think it's a stupid acquisition...because it is.
As Clippy said, it’s very polarized. Some disagree entirely with this idea & others see it as beneficial.
