Job market is brutal for SWEs 🥲
34 year old male here. The doctor heard a murmur sound from my heart and suggested a ultrasound for heart. The ultrasound showed moderate MR(mitral regurgitation). Is this normal? Anyone else has the issue?
It usually doesn’t require treatment if it’s mild, which is the majority of cases. Your doctor should have discussed this with you when they contacted you about the ultrasound. If you still have questions you should call the office back and ask to speak to a doctor or nurse about your results.
Thanks for your input. My doctor scheduled a discussion with me in this afternoon. Just wanted to check here and have a general understanding if anyone here has similar issues and how common/serious it is.
Good luck! I have one, and I get the impression that even if they do need to treat it, the prognosis is good
