Why is our country owned by Israel? I don't want my tax dollars fund genocide. How can we stop this nonsense?
Hey y'all, I have two interviews for solutions engineer positions at sas insurance products companies. I'm not super sure how to prepare for them as I've only done SWE work so for I have one YOE, in tech. I'm not really worried about the insurance knowledge bit as I have 4 years of P&C experience under my belt. Any advice is very much appreciated TC: 88k 1 YOE
Know best practices for running demos, public speaking, presentation skills, discover, selling.
Think about presentation experience you have as well as anything client-facing. The tech experience is probably less important than any time spent speaking with the buyer these roles would target. SE leaders are typically used to hiring from other roles and turning them into SEs - that’s pretty common. You mainly need to be comfortable with technology and credible in front of a customer (and then there’s learning the science and art of selling - which is harder than it looks but can be taught). Good luck!
