$200 for LP prep? I don't think it's a good idea... I'd rather try this slushie thing by Blind. https://www.rooftopslushie.com/request/Amazon-Leadership-Principles-Interview-Questions-149 Seems pretty informative.

Has that guy ever interviewed and successful got an offer from Amazon?

Amazon bLif00 Jul 18, 2019

This guy overdoes it.

OP, did you get an offer from Amazon? I think coaching wouldnt help. Be reasonable and nice to the interviewer. That does it!

I had a phone interview yesterday. 90 minutes. Lot of chit chat back and forth. Not sure if that's a good thing or not? I almost always read my interviews wrong - when I think they go well I get rejected, when I think I did terrible, I get the job. It's strange.

The depth of the follow up question is a good indicator of the success. If questions were not deep but broad then it could imply that you couldnt meet the required LP. DFS style questioning is usually more positive than BFS style. If interviewer asked or rephrased the same question more than twice, it is a strong sign of a failure. Otherwise if you feel it was a good discussion and just super exhausted after the interview, I would say you may pass.

If you're not hard up for $$ I don't see a problem with it - for the onsite. I don't think you should spend money prepping for the phone interview. The phone interview is mostly tech and a few behavioral questions. Try and sprinkle in the LPs throughout the call even during chit chat while answering tech questions. For the onsite, you're going to have 4-5 interviews of only behavioral questions. You want to make sure you've prepared these answers and have spoken them out loud before - but don't memorize then. In that regard, working with an interview coach who knows Amazon can only help.
