Preparing for career transition
Looking for opinions/advice. I’ll be transitioning from the military in 5 years and looking towards a new career after 20 yrs service. Currently working towards MS in businesses operations with Program Management added. Working towards PMP, Agile, and Six Sigma BB certs by then as well. Any recommendations for additional knowledge base, demonstrable skill sets for my resume? If you where setting yourself up to be extremely employable what would you do, focus efforts to gain skill sets?
I think you’re doing great with what you have listed. I would suggest getting some technical skills. Even if it is adding some comp sci courses to your MS would be great!
