Interviewing in person in a couple of weeks. First phone contact was positive. Looking for any tips or things to study for the interview. This is in the Security / Identity org.
Depends on Team - atleast the team I know has 1 coding , 2 system design , 1 management experience, 1 culture fit / behavioral and 1 as appropriate . As appropriate is usually from the team who is mostly a principal or a senior and above and 1 person is from some other team not reporting to the same general manager.
How many seniors are ASAPs? Dont think I've ever met one.
Update: went well in Project Management and System Design but didn’t meet the bar at coding which was a bit of a surprise since I clearly stated I was a people Manager. Enjoyed the people and the interview process. Looks like I need to go back to coding/algorithm if I’m doing these front door interviews.
What was the coding question? I can DM you please
Why are you leaving Oracle ? The product stack here is very different and you may not like it
Been here for a long time. Chasing something new, and Microsoft has built momentum in the Cloud market. Stack doesn’t really matter as long as the opportunity is interesting. Still interviewing so I don’t know yet how it will go.
