"Principal" Software Engineer at Zalando?

What level does "Principal Software Engineer" at Zalando map to in terms of responsibilities, as compared to Google/Facebook/Amazon/Uber? I get a feeling that the title maybe inflated. A Principal at Google would be a very rare L8, one per hundreds of lower-level SWEs. At Uber there were 2 Principals for 4000 SWEs. How does the ladder look like at Zalando? How many Principals are there per total SWEs?

Zalando has the naming scheme Senior SWE, Principal SWE, Senior Principal SWE and Executive Principal SWE.

They are also rare here , i think for one domain they have 2,3 max principal engineers . People having 10+ come in this role and mostly they deal with intra team integration and solve the problem i saw there base pay max 155 k euro .
