Problems at Western Digital
I was reading about WD. Seems they had 1 week furlough for everybody, while at same time company is planning layoffs, sad At same time they got a massive hacker attack where the whole network collapsed for days and employees were not able to login. Not to mention that company's products were hacked too and customers are still struggling. Are you guys doing better now?
Seems like a media fishing expo. Everything you say is correct and employees are kept in the dark (as of not trusted or they can't because of NDA) Not fun. But I found a new-old friend named Leet code that has been keeping me company. But we are all hoping for the best.
Another furlough coming this quarter. Leadership announced that a restructuring (layoffs) are coming soon.
Yeah please lay us off and give the package. We don’t want to be a part of this company anymore
When is the next furlough?
Supposedly the network was taken down on purpose as a precautionary measure. However we only know what we’re spoonfed so…

San Jose, Milpitas, and Fremont campuses. Micron also did a furlough I believe.
