Hi blind fam! Would love to hear details if anyone is familiar with Product Management at Two Sigma. Just finished onsites and expecting an offer soon. Specifically looking for more info on pros/cons vs. FAANG PM, 2S culture, scope of responsibilities and of course, comp package to expect/negotiate for (1-3 yoe + strong fit for the role). Appreciate any inputs! #product #productmanager #pm #twosigma
It’s really rough. Friend worked there and quit due to bad WLB and pressure. Not sure if all orgs are similar but they had a rough time.
Thanks for sharing; this is helpful. This was a PM position?
Yes. Engineering might be better I don’t really know. Also curious to see if anyone else has any experience.
Yeah I had a friend who said it was very difficult to deal with the demands there and left to go to google.
Can you share your interview process?
Sure. 30 min HR screening call -> 1 hr phone call with a PM -> 3 video calls 1hr/each -> Team match meetings -> offer
any insight into the type/style of these interviews? design/execution? thanks!
I work at Two Sigma as a PM - I’d say that it compares to FAANG both in terms of comp and performance expectations. WLB is significantly better than places like FB, worse than Google.
Feel free to DM me if you have any questions
Awesome this is great to hear; will DM
Which team? Feel free to DM.
Did you get the offer? How was it?

L4 Google -> 45 interviews, 5 offers, AMA
Btw ^ all I’m seeing on levels.fyi but not sure how levels map to FAANG/ranges of each level (the L2 offer here is higher than L3?)
The L3 is confused new hire
Oh how so? But these are PM levels and within bands as you would expect?
