What do product analysts do ? How is the pay compared to an SDE ?

Working with PMs: helping define product analytics requirements and data pipelines, designing/running/evaluating/explaining AB tests, building reports and dashboards. Pay is way lower, Data Engineering is more lucrative and in-demand if you want something to do with data but still in the Engineering world.

Data Engineering roles are too ambiguous. Some are just business intelligence roles while others expect you to be a full fledged software engineer.
