Professional Rejection Message - Guidelines
Hello Blind community, I have been offered from Walmart. The pay was really low when compared to average pay scale at Walmart. I later tried at PayPal, and was also offered a way better Compensation. Meanwhile, I have accepted the offer from Walmart, and have completed couple of background verification check with them. Now, as I have received a better offer from PayPal, I am planning to join PayPal. What are the guidelines to share my rejection message to Walmart HR ? Please help me with this. I wish to send them the message very politely. Also, please let me know if there are any consequences in rejecting the offer after accepting it ? Depends on how long ago you signed the offer and how badly they were banking on you to join. Depending on the same, they may be able to match your new offer. Be honest about the new offer and give them a chance to match if you like the team and want to join there, else just be polite and say you gotta think about yourself too, can't refuse the much higher comp on the other side. They'll understand. Was in your shoes sometime back.
Nothing will happen, they may try to match paypal if it is critical
Hey, congrats for your offers. May I know how many years back does Walmart do a employment background check? I am interviewing these days LOL. I had an overseas experience 4 years ago which took a long time for bc before but it is very time sensitive for me. Thanks a ton!
The consequence is you will be blacklisted by the company and the managers who interviewed you.
