Promotions at Uber
On average how long does promotion take from L3-L4, L4-L5 at Uber? Also, what does a promotion entail in terms of TC changes (how much salary, stock, refresher targets increase?) Do people interview elsewhere for counter offers, or are promotions already good enough? Starting at Uber soon as a new grad and curious. Thanks!

Most L3 to L4 would happen in 2 years, 1 year is doable but not typical. L4 to L5 really depends on your skill set, could easily be 2-3 years if you need to improve in certain areas. Note that things are slowing down and promotions would take more time as company keeps growing.
