Pure Storage review
No trolls please. Pure Storage reached out via linkedin. Looking for pros and cons of leaving Amazon for pure storage in this economy/pandemic. Happy with work and team at amazon. Looking to change only for high TC. Don't need visa sponsorship. Interested in long-term stability/job security/growth and good WLB. Current TC: 300K YOE: 10 Update: I am an SDE. I am working in storage related AWS service at amazon.
It’s a tier 2 company. WLB is decent from what I know. I don’t know what you do at amazon but Amazon is generally considered more “prestigious “. Of course if your life at amazon is not good that’s something to consider.

Would highly recommend exploring. I joined Pure during pandemic and it has been a great decision for me. People are some of the best I’ve worked with and culture seems great too so far. Your TC should be well taken care of too.
Did you join from FAANG?
No. But I could argue that my previous company was at least as good as Amazon :)
My offer from pure came in 125k less than my aws offer

Don’t. Won’t be worth from any viewpoint. You may get job growth through titles but each company treats them differently, unless you work for fang Might help if you are interested in switching tracks like to management
