PwC offer response time
Interviewed with PwC couple of weeks back. HR wants to have a discussion about the offer. But I am interviewing with other companies and those offers could be better than PwC. Anyone has gone through this scenario ?! Please advise 1. What happens during the HR discussion ? Would there be a little bit of back and forth ? 2. How long can I push this HR discussion ? What are some acceptable reasons to push this discussion ? 3. How soon after the HR discussion, offer is sent ? 4. What is the deadline to respond to an offer ? OP - what happened finally? After all technical interviews, I got the call from HR last week and was asked the expected compensation. I didn’t hear anything since then. I am wondering if this is usual time to process they take or I am not being considered for the role anymore. What level and TC they offered you?
Yeah I mean it depends on if this is a hire for next fall like in their '22 class or an off cycle hire to fill a need. You're at Deloitte so surprised you have the questions but here's my 2 cents. Have the conversation and be up front saying you're having with other companies and would need more time to make your decision. Don't lie. Bottom line.
What are their joining cycles? My friend got a offer but they said joining date can’t fit in current cycle and have to wait until January. Which is beyond my EAD 90 days unemployment
