Will RUST rust or take over the industry in next 5 to 10 years? Toms of modules available in python needs to be rewritten in rust (AI, DevOps, Systems etc)
Rust is a systems language. It’s not here to compete with Python but with C/Cpp rather.
Not entirely true, golang had similar thinking but ended up taking on python. I am now seeing some python projects moving to Rust.
Golang is a misguided language. Tried to took system level but for higher level backends. It has no sense to exist and it'll be gone soon. Python is the best high level language as of today. Rust already won the high performance/system level race. Only new innovative languages could displace them
Rust will probably take over c++ eventually. That’s it though.
I use ruff for python

Python is a wrapper for faster languages, so no. Python is too convenient for general use cases
