A colleague shared that s/he found out that they were on a "focus" from the internal recruiter, not their manager. If on a "focus", then are internal applications rejected or paused?
Ask "am I on focus"?
Current manager replied "no" to my question of "Am I on a plan"?
Plan is different and comes after focus. Sounds like you’re on focus

You are 100% on Coaching/Focus which is the pre Pivot/PIP stage - just for the avoidance of doubt - and may have been so for a while already. Dont trust one word from your PiP Stalking mis-manager as they have a mandatory URA exit quota to meet and your name is one of the statistics, so their interests are not aligned with yours and are oppositional in fact. OLR/TR meetings are mid January, when names are needed from the PIP Stalking mis-managers for the PIP Farm herd who will be culled to meet their mandatory URA exit quotas. PIPeline of victims is ready at the end of Focus funnel by December then submitted to the PIP gods of OLR and URA in January and gets locked in early February and driven outwards after that…… HR chase mis-managers to have all PIP underway by start of April latest. Fun times….. like an advent calendar - but not. :-/
