Both our twins in 3rd grade, boy and girl are avid book readers. They read quite a variety of books. I was just scrolling one of their comic series.. this really caught my attention. They got this book from their school library. Am I only one who thinks this is disturbing / nonsense and should not be there? At same time any age appropriate series/list of books you would recommend? #parenting
That's true tho
What's your problem with this comic?
Maybe some kind conservative thoughts for both son and daughter? I donât know but I didnât like it :)
This comic IS conservative lol. The only "grown up" idea it introduces is that girls and boys are attracted to each other. But that's kind of a given by the time you're old enough to read comics lol.
Lol (I'm laughing at the comic not you) I think it depends on your kid. Third grade I was reading this stuff in the newspaper and read Archie comics and X-Men. And superhero comics are actually less kid friendly with a lot of their themes. I'd say if you don't like it don't allow them to read it but this comic to me was kind of cute actually đ it doesn't go across the line.
Women in most comics are hyper sexualised. I didn't notice it when I read comics or played games as a kid but I can see it now. Look at black cat in Spiderman TAS or Jean/storm's costumes.
I noticed as a kid lol just didn't care. Was more into what was going to happen next.
No I wouldnât.
Maybe read Calvin and Hobbes instead
that reminds me, where did all the Calvin and Hobbes posts go? Was enjoying them
Does it have any moral towards the end?
Canadian. More than country itâs more about thoughts.. no?
Toooo woke.
aren't most sdes bad boys? they attract top girls. so its true
Itâs funny đ
