Have been in QA manual testing for last 12 years. I am looking for change. I see SDeT roles which ask for heavy coding which I am not good at. Have been getting rejected. Any ideas on how to change my career track. What dO to get relevant again!
Explore PM path
Any pointers on how to get into PM roles ?
You could try UI/UX, PM, TPM, Hardware domain
Current Tc ?
Are you on a work visa like H1B?
Two paths really. 1. Technical — become more technical and learn to code (e.g. QAT or SDET) 2. Non-Technical — switch to product management, TPM, or even customer support Lots of QAs choose both tracks. It really depends on your confidence in your skills and your desired work.
If you are not interested in coding then management route is the only way forward ..

Take CS classes and learn software engineering.
I was forced into software development when my company got rid of QA. I don’t know why they kept me, but I really hate development. Loved automation. I’m thinking of leaving software, again. It’s a nice high paying gig, but just a loser of a track… for me.
