QA II offer at Amazon Alexa - Should I negotiate further?

I got an offer from Alexa team today for 135k base + 96 k rsu + 57k bonus. Can folks help me decide if its the right number? How much do people in a similar role make? It would be good to share this with my recruiter and get more if its possible.

QA 2 is around 100k base at Amazon, you are at the very high end. Annual rsu could be 40k to 70k.

Wrong.

Looking like total comp is ~160-170. That is middle of the curve, and they can do better... Like 180-190.. Higher if you have another offer. Tell them you're concerned about growth, as there are less than 50 Lv6s in the entire company... so you know you won't see a promo for many years.

Microsoft max7 Aug 16, 2016

Are you QA? Mind sharing your comps and how many years you have been with the company.

Amazon yHcu33 Aug 16, 2016

It would identify me, sorry.

And I thought Glassdoor has all the answers lol

is that seattle or Bae Area?

Amazon yHcu33 Aug 17, 2016

Bay Area is +10 to 20ish

Microsoft S Nutella Aug 17, 2016

yeah but is alexa developed here in seattle or in insane-town?

Amazon yHcu33 Aug 17, 2016

Both, and other places too. Amazon is a big company, and Alexa is its current flagship.

Even if you get a premium package, don't join as QA. Most of the good companies don't have this role anymore, and for few companies which have they soon will be downsized or managed out. You will be ending in a dead end career.

Microsoft S Nutella Jan 20, 2017

QA will be making a comeback after customers start shitting on companies for their poopware.

Microsoft CUdP57 Jan 20, 2017

Sorry , low end QA work will be there carried out by contract workers but as a career it is dead.
