I recently got an offer for a Java Selenium and API testing role with a whopping 70% salary hike. How's, this would be my second consecutive QA job, and I'm wary about potentially pigeonholing by myself into QA roles and hitting a salary ceiling earlier on. Alternatively, I have an opportunity to wrap up a full-stack development contract at a small startup. So, community, I'd love your insights: Does having consecutive QA roles limit future career growth and salary potential? Which do you think is a better long-term move: QA at a big tech company, or full-stack at a start up? Looking forward to your perspectives. Thanks in advance!
SDET, AppSec, ProdSec, Performance testing, etc all part of QA and are on the same or higher pay grade as SWE. So there are a lot of opportunities in QA if this is what you like to do.

SDET and SDE at many company are on the same band. Sometimes theyโre embedded in the dev teams and are a huge key to success. Idk why people are hesitant to go all in into it. It seems chill
