Am I safe? UnitedHealth / Optum acquires Change Healthcare
Starting a new job in marketing for Change Healthcare this week. They were just acquired by UnitedHealth a couple days ago. Am I safe? Idk about layoffs but it can be a shocking culture shift

Yeah I guess Change wasn’t small per se, but you just went from 14000 coworkers to 340000. There’s a lot of internal tooling and systems in place to manage that scale and everything is a process. I know more from an other acquisition that they did well lay-off wise (a lot of people left on their own terms) but the culture shock was a lot
