What parts of Hawaii did you vacationed ? For How many days ? What specific spots did you visit ? What activities did you do there ? Would you recommend it ?? Any tips for having more fun there while not breaking the bank ??
Went to Maui for a week in 2022 , stayed in the Lahaina area (I’m not sure how much this part has recovered since the fires). Also took a ferry over to Lanai for a day trip. Definitely rent a car Did the road to Hana (definitely get a tour bus for this, it’s a difficult drive on your own), paragliding , just general beach days in Kaanapali and Lanai , and hiked around the nakelele blowholes It was a great time, Maui is pretty quiet though so if you’re looking to party this one may not be it. The food and drinks are great, but obviously expensive. I’d recommend going — probably around now tbh, I think this time of year is when there are lots of whales around
I went to Maui and Honolulu in two separate trips. Maui is much much better and I totally recommend it. If you rent a car it won’t matter where u stay because you can drive to everywhere on the island in around 10-30mins mostly
I’ve been a few times. On Oahu, Honolulu is great for night life, North Shore is great for relaxation. If you’re into nature and quiet, I’m a fan of the big island. Definitely visit Volcanoes National Park, see the black sand beaches and green sea turtles.
I like Kauai, because it’s incredibly laid back and there’s less people. Stay on the north side of the island. Get a car. Go on hikes.
I have been to all the islands in separate trips. Rented a car all times. Have driven around the whole islands easily. Maui - recommned it Big Island - Volcano National park Oahu- night life , good food etc Kauai - hiking

If you're going to Honolulu, stay in Ala moana (not Waikiki). Or if you have a car, on the north(?)/ Opposite side near the famous beach.
