Thinking about buying the same car I have been leasing for 3 years, at the end of my lease. BMW 330i sedan. Havenโt had an issues with it for 3 years. Buying it out will cost me $26K per the contract (vs Kelley Blue Book value of $30K). Tired of having to deal with car payments, having to lease a new car every 3 years with higher car payments and higher insurance. Do you recommend this strategy or are you against it?
I prefer to buy cars not lease
Is it 330, 340, M340, M3?
They would if said M3 for the flex, if it was an M3. It is not.
Updated above. Yes NOT M3; hence no flex
Run !
Why?
I would try leasing a M340
German cars- BMW Audi Mercedes are a marketing stunt to showcase luxury to the world. After 5 years you need to get your luxury repaired every few months. Buy something that is the future, go electric, BMW has been selling the same car since forever, they cant even put a wireless charger and internet in their car without dongles
I've owned multiple BMWs and Audis. This is objectively false. Like any brand some cars will have issues, but they're actually more reliable than a lot of other auto makers. It also depends on the model and year you're buying. Some are known to have issues.
BMW real costs of maintainence kick in after Yr4, and it can cost a lot to maintain it .. that is also the time when the manufacturer warranty expires.
Canโt you buy the car and immediately sell it to some place like CarMax?
You are forgetting the sales tax balance on $26k
