Stock market was not kind on PayPal during their recent earnings.
Elon Musk run company. Go figure
Wut
Fact check: false. Musk has not been at PayPal since 2000. His company merged with their parent company, but he was ousted by the board the same year.
PayPal sadly is in a state of revenue decline. They need to cut to keep their eps from falling further..

Analyst for PayPal noted their revenues will flatline or show minimal growth in 2024
Whut? PayPal has so many employees?? For payment app??? Lol
Same as, why does google have so many employees?? For a search product?
PayPal product hasn’t changed for decades. And the UI sucks. Lay them all off.
I find the PayPal UI to be quite nice actually. Also it's one of those rare services that actually just fucking works when you need it to. Sorry PayPal bros. I'm sure I'll be right in the breadline hind you in no time ☠️
Lol PYPL bag holder?
What legitimate purpose does PayPal serve? Why not use a credit card directly and get the fraud protection? I used it exactly once: I had my first and last transaction on it. I was taken by a fraudster who charged my PayPal account, claimed to have shipped the product; even provided a ups tracking number that had neither the delivery address nor the recipient name on it and did not reply to any communication. I wasted 3 days of my life disputing the charge and reopening the case on the PayPal website, talking to some call center in Asia and threatened to do a chargeback with my credit card. I will never again use a merchant that only accepts PayPal. I’d rather stay without. Sorry not sorry. Shut the whole company down.

Now it looks right... In covid time, I could not understand what was the hype about. It's just a wallet, can be made overnight by 1 swe.
Someone said 2500
Seems like a lot of actual SWE got hit…not the help staff
This is what the CEO meant when he said he'll shock everyone
