In tech circles why is trump support growing rapidly?
In tech specifically (that’s why this is here and not in politics section) why does it seem that support for trump is growing so much?
Because the world is f’ed because of democrats. The exact same thing happened in 1919 with German’s opening up a “transsexual” clinic to surgically make men into women. (See Magnus Hirschfeld) History repeats itself, I’m genuinely scared and trying to figure out the best place to escape this mess.
It's not just tech circles. It's nationally. He is gaining in polls especially among the young who feel hopeless. I wonder why that is....? (Housing, COL, student loans, white collar bad job market for entry level, etc)
Now is the Trump the solution? Probably not but people are still gonna do anything for a slimmer of change, realistic or not.

How was this even proposed - INFLATION - Hippocricy on immigration - Blue states can't handle a fraction of immigrants that Texas has to deal with. From someone that voted for democrats in the last 2 elections and lives in NY
Perhaps it's that they're more willing to admit to being Trump supporters than they were before.
It isn’t. There is just a vocal minority in here that spams conservative talking points.
It is blacks and Hispanics. It is not Indian or Chinese tech employees. Also young Asian Americans who saw the debacle in affirmative action and the naturalized citizens who have growing concerns over illegal migrants and elevated crimes with no consequences.
Because they blame Biden for tech layoffs, which is partially driven by rising interest rates. Trump would lower interest rates which is good for tech but not necessarily for other industries.
Biden set fire to inflation with student debt forgiveness, inflation reduction bill (ironic), crime sprees and illegal migrants.
Everyone is susceptible to propaganda, but eventually their eyes are opened.
