EXCITING: GPT 4 Release!
Hi, I am expecting an offer from BMS at the Senior manager level. What should I be expecting for base and bonus? In your experience is the LTI usually RSUs or are options provided? I’ve communicated I have competing offers expected, which I do next week. Do recruiters always lowball the first offer and what is the usual range of flexibility in total compensation? #bristolmyerssquibb #pharma #healthcare
150 + any LTI I would think. Let us know how it goes.
BMS has a higher base range than J&J from my experience. Pension used to be competitive at J&J but with recent and upcoming changes to that it’s tipping the scale.
LTI is typically options. 130-150 is safe range for senior manager depending on what area of the company you will be working in.
I was told they don’t do options but RSUs only for LTI
My salary as a senior manager ranged from 140-165 before I moved up a level. Bonus is 16% at that grade, and LTI is discretionary. I got it some years, I didn't other. AD and above LTI is part of your comp every year.
This answer was spot on. @gobirds1, what is the typical percent increase in base upon promotion? 10%?
It really depends on division/level honestly. Yes, always ask for more no matter WHAT the offer & never leave the possibility of more $$$ on the table.
How is the promotion track at BMS in IT ? Is it tough to move to Associate Dir. from Sr. Manager?
This is a good question. I would like to know as well.
Onboarding range for Sr manager can be 135-155, it depends on the candidates experience level. BMS does not have salary caps once you are onboarded so your salary can grow indefinitely. I believe Sr manager LTI is targeted around 12k annually if awarded as its only available to a portion of the employee population below AD. LTI is all issued as restricted shares that vest over 4 years (25% annually)
OP did you end up joining BMS? I am also interviewing for AD role. Please let me know if you can chat.
130-145
Which site does this range come from for a senior manager? Sound like a entry level PhD base in Bay Area??
