Asking for a friend, could you please share some details on Qualcomm internship conversion process? #hardware #interview #semiconductor
^^ agree with @dxhrnd Unless you fuck up big time, you can expect an offer. Considering this is a remote internship, make sure you set 1:1s with your manager and mentor and communicate effectively with them. Learn as much as you can and show your appetite for learning. Express your interest in wanting to join the team full-time. Start this conversation around a month into the internship with your manager.
Yup, if you are good enough, you’ll get an offer! Don’t need to be exceptional, but don’t mess it up royally!
Qcom will definitely hire you. QC is finding difficult to hire people because of low compensation structure.

Conversion rates are high. Unless you messed up real bad you could expect a return offer. Usually you’d expect an offer anytime between your last week of internship to 2 months down. It really depends on the team. And if you are looking to join a team outside of the org, then you’d have to go about it yourself approaching a hiring manager who would set up interviews if they are interested. But if it’s the same org you should start a conversation about it in your sync with manager/director in the last couple of weeks of internship.
