Qualcomm offer evaluation
Hi, I received an offer from Qualcomm San Diego for Senior Engr role. Base 140k RSU 80k/3 Sign-on 25k YOE- 2 Master’s degree from US Current base: 109k Any thoughts will be helpful ? Also, should I be concerned about the layoffs that happened a few years ago ? Should this be an important factor to make a decision ? Thanks!

Also In levels.fyi, I have seen an entry level (0 yoe) get base 125k, RSU 25k and bonus 25k at QCOM
I was offered 122k even with 5 yoe. Seems too good to be true. I fear when such offers are made the team sucks.

Lol I know mine was a low ball offer . So didn't bother entertaining. But yeah yours is not bad.
I was offered 123k base and lesser stocks with 2.5 yoe for RTL. Looks too good to me, if true!

Good offer from Qualcomm. Usually current staff engineers still are in 140s base and 55k rsus with 13k yearly bonus. Based on that, yours is a very good offer. Good job!
