hi, i’m currently working as SWE with 4 years of experience. my qualifications are as below, can i know whether i’m eligible for eb1 gc. Education: MSCS, Bachelors Experience: 4 years Patents : 1 (Inventor) Research: 1 published not author
No. But if you could go out and come back as a pm/tpm/SDM, any manager really, level doesn't matter, then you could get eb1
I have a top ten university PhD, 12 papers, over 100 citations, 5 patents, several popular blog posts and videos, over 30 papers peer reviewed across over 10 conferences, editor or program committee member for 6 conferences/ journals. I was told no by two companies for eb1 before one finally did and I got through this year.
Did you do EB1A or EB1B? I believe EB1B is much easier , but then lawyers especially company lawyers are very conservative. Does not help that USCIS is adjudicating harshly in this Admin
Sounds about right. We went with EB1B not to risk rejection with category A.
Don't go for EB1, the queue these days is slower than EB2.
Not really. Depends on birth country
It wasn't even about country. Its about the priority date. For EB1, its not current regardless of country.
No
PhD 1 patent 30 Research papers 5 journals 200+ citations I went Eb2 !!!
What’s your tc?
TC range is 0 to Millionare. Its a startup
Of course no. But you should still check with an immigration lawyer. Which country were you born in?
Unfortunately no, even if the Sun rise from the West on Black Friday. Also curious: what does “published not author” mean? Never heard of this before.
Me too curious. It sounds like a covert project or something.
