Anyone here worked with Sales people at Google as a client of theirs or worked at Google sales themselves- are you able to articulate their sales skill on the product? In my wide experience, sales folks at Google don’t know their product very well, all they come back with is “please increase your budget”. With a product that has been selling itself for the last two decades (Search, YouTube), what value do these sales reps add apart from putting a face to the product? It seems obvious to me that sales teams will be laid off due to so many of them just being there as a face to their product. Not true sales so hard to assess a salesperson based on Google experience
