Is Quantcast a good place to work? Have a recruiter reach out to me. Ex FAANG. Was in the ad tech space in one of the fangs, probably why I was targeted, but I found the people in the space have no souls. Also does Quantcast have levels for managers? Senior engineering manager title, London Yoe: 12 Ctc: £150k
No
Run far away .. it’s going downhill.
Can't tell if this is sarcasm or not. I'll take it at face value
What’s the offer ? £150k ?
- 2020 outlook: The rest of 2020 will be steady, but 2021 will probably be boom or bust. The company is transitioning out of managed service and diverting more resources to self-serve which is coming out of beta. Adoption is slow due to covid but current customers are happy (very good NPS). If things go well in 2021 I wouldn't be surprised if we have an IPO. - Soulless people: Can't speak for the entire company, but people in Prod & Eng aren't soulless. Peter Day is a leader we can get behind, and I found engineers in London really talented. Oddly enough I also found that people who seem "soulless" end up leaving for FAANG... - Manager levels: Manager (L4)/Senior/Group/Director/VP
No don’t do it. It’s not a good place. I was there 6 years ago. A lot of people stayed but it’s not a place for growth.
I had an offer from them, decided to decline it, even though it was a strong offer. many talented folks left / are leaving the company, almost all my interviewers left the company, the company's strategy doesn't look promising, and it recently had layoffs too. Read other threads on blind as well about Quantcast, most of the comments are negative
it’s surprising to see the “layoffs” part coming from “uber”.
I just gave an honest opinion,I wouldn't recommend someone to join Uber as well at the moment
