Is anybody aware of Intel's progress on quantum hardware? IBM, Google, and other major players are regularly reporting on progress (Microsoft doesn't do for obvious reasons). Last thing I could find from Intel was about 12 qubits in the summer. #hardware #quantum #intel
Intel doesn’t do much these days. Too busy with politics and backstabbing
I wasn't following the news. What's that about?
Yeah, what’s this about? @uBHV26 just sounds salty lol
Lol you must not be in TD
Quantum Computing is being done by Intel Labs so unlikely that the regular employee is aware of all the latest developments...
How are these two doing in quantum computing nowadays? Last I checked, only Quantinuum and IonQ had qubit fidelity that wasn't terrible with multiple gates [1]. I think I saw Honeywell doing well too, but IBM was lacking. [1] - https://arxiv.org/abs/2110.03137
Intel labs publish high impact journals. It also work with external groups and government. It is related to cryptography, so not every thing is published.
Released an SDK last year. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/developer/tools/quantum-sdk/overview.html
I feel like presentation of any QC software these days should begin with a brief explanation of why one should bother given qiskit 😂
