Hello all I am applying for a staff engineer position with Waymo. The recruiter and hiring manager did not clearly mention if Waymo stock can be liquidated or if it can be liquidated only once Waymo IPOs. Can any folks in Waymo help me with this? Current TC (with stock appreciation): 1M ish #waymo
YOE?
What I have learned from reading posts about this question on Blind: 1. Your complete offer letter should include the details 2. When you leave the company, Waymo "gains the right" to buy back your stock at whatever they decide is fair market value. You can optionally choose to defer this for 4 years.
I currently work there. Don’t go to Waymo if you are concerned about finances. Pay is shit because of funny money and executives aren’t being transparent about how they’re going to solve it…I think because they’re cu*ked by investors.
Curious what org? I think the new grad TCs are actually pretty high hence a bunch of Stanford grads signing offers recently
Offers in general are high right now. The equity and liquidity is the main problem.

No. It’s Waymo options.
