I'm an M1 and what I was told by my assigned recruiter the last time I was hiring is that hiring managers can see only Connects from the prior two years during the hiring process. I didn't have any internal or former Microsoft candidates to consider then, so I couldn't verify this with my own eyes, but I assume it's correct. So depending on exactly when your Connect happened, a hiring manager *might not* be able to see it. Once you are hired, your manager can see your entire Connect history back to the first one. I would still encourage you to interview, and if a hiring manager sees an IR from about two years ago, you could use that as an opportunity to talk about how much you've learned and grown since then (assuming you have). A single IR should not be an automatic disqualifier.
