Question regarding fidelity
So I have a fidelity account because i got enrolled in the Amazon 401k. I’m thinking of opening an investment account in fidelity as well. However should i open it in the account as the 401k? I’m worried if that account is linked to my employment at amazon and it’ll be closed if i leave the job?
Individual brokerage account is a diff thing. BTW your 401k account won’t be closed(unless you request fidelity to do so) even if you move to diff employer.
You have something like 30 days to rollover a 401k from employer plan to ira
Majority of 401ks don't have any time frames for rollovers unless your balance is under $5k. If they force you out, you have 30 days to take action.
