Why is Lyft carpool fee almost double of Uber? For example, a 15 min ride cost more than 10 dollars for Lyft and cost only 5-6 dollars for Uber. It used to be much cheaper. What’s the deal now?
Ubers burning money again to get people back .
Whenever you see it’s good price, they’re doing promo. When they burn out all funds, you’ll see price is almost similar to cab
By that time taxi medallions will be bankrupt. It's about dominance and monopoly. Read zero to one by Peter Thiel.
Lyft has more problems than Uber. Lyft's footprint is not large and many people in rural US parts don't know it Lyft but know about Uber.
Line is always cheaper for me around SF but Pool is cheaper to SFO around half the time. Can't make any sweeping generalizations about pricing since it's so dynamic. If you have seconds to spare, just check both.
As a within SFO user, I find Uber prices to be strictly better than Lyft. I don't even check Lyft anymore.
So refreshing to hear people choosing on price other than...other matters...no matter...
