How bad is it in meta?
Do you feel the pride a BMW or Mercedes or lets say Aston Martin driver feels? Just asking because all i see is tesla being driver by uber drives. Does it hurt your ego? On top of that, do other controversies related to the ceo etc also make you feel like shit while driving the car #tesla Also, would you buy another tesla in the future? Ok, i said pride because i wanted to be a little sensitive. What i really meant is, do you feel any shame buying this car for any reason: Driven by uber drivers, the ceo, the ill treatment of the CEO of its employees, the occasional accidents, maybe future accidents because of the self driving tech.
Phew I laughed hard. Imagine tying your self worth to a car. And pride over a BMW? 😂😂😂 Are you posting this from your slave labor iPhone?
At an age where I don’t really care about pride of owning a BMW or its likes. Been there done that and find Tesla practical although not a fan of the Shocks. I have mixed feelings as a Model Y owner.
OP got cutoff by a tesla this morning
My ego doesn’t depend on the car I drive. I can afford most of the cars except ultra expensive ones like rolls royce or bugatti, but my life situation doesn’t justify this. And also I don’t love cars so much that I center my life/finances around owning a flashy one. If your situation is different and the points you listed apply to you, maybe don’t buy a tesla and instead get something that’ll make you feel great.
I like my Tesla but I won’t get another one as long as Elon is involved with the company. He’s clearly lost it.
Pride over owning a BMW? 💀🤣🤣 I guess you've never seen the billions of memes out there about BMWs Lol'd hard in the morning. Thanks for the laugh!
Agree with the theme of comments. Feeling pride in a car brand is ridiculous. If you rebuilt an old car with your bare hands, that would make sense to have pride in the car.
This post seems really pathetic. It's a car buddy, it's sad to see that you define yourself by what you spend your money on. Same type of person that buys a $300 T-shirt and thinks that's going to someone boost there social status. If you like something and its not draining your bank account, then full power to you, spend money on what makes you happy. Generally no one besides you really cares about what you drive or what luxury products you spend your money on and the people that do care probably aren't the ones you really want around you or in your life anyways. One the the wealthiest people I knew, drove a 2 decade old Honda Civic and some no name brand clothes that you pick up at target. He was worth over $100M and would never be able to tell.
Driving a 20yo car - as long as it runs ok and is reliable - is better than buying new and crying every time you have a door dent.
I go 0-60 in like 3 seconds. Elon could punch the president and I'd be like "damn that's crazy" then continue to use my Tesla as I've always done. Like I genuinely do not care about ICE cars. I'd buy 10 more in the future if I could.
