- Looks like Ford has some remote roles, but mostly only for seniors. Is remote being phased out in favor of hybrid in Dearborn? - what are the levels at Ford, and what is typical pay for a data engineer at ford compared to a software engineer? - what is the work culture like there? Is it pretty chill? Or more fast-paced like big tech? - do you like working there? - is ford having layoffs or hiring freeze, or did they recently? #ford YoE: 2 TC: 0 Old TC: 155k
If you are hired remote, then you don't need to be in the office. Hybrid is for people who were in office pre pandemic or were hired hybrid/onsite.
1) remote is being phased out for hybrid. 2) gsr 1-8, ll6-ll2 3) culture depends on the division/immediate boss. 4) it’s enjoyable between product cycles. Launches are pretty stressful. 5) hiring freeze for certain divisions.
