I’ll be interviewing with Google and Amazon soon. I want to ask for suggestions for questions to ask interviewers at the end of the interview. Also, do interviewers at these companies record questions they were asked as part of their feedback? We do that at Facebook.
Ask genuine questions about how the team works or how decisions get made and ask for examples. That’ll be the reason you regret accepting a job there after a year. Get those questions answered. The point of the questions isn’t to look smart. They’re literally for you to help you make a decision about the offer if you get one. 💦
Sorry I just realized you must be ...24? You’ll learn
TC and YOE?
ask them why you should join them from FB
Did you ask the FB recruiters why should you join the company despite of the company's name being tarnished, the mismanagement of the platform, data collection, etc.?
Did I strike a nerve? I asked a question based on public knowledge & instead you felt the need to ask an irrelevant question. Your answer doesn't make any sense either & your attempt at belittling my company was weak at best.
Sometimes at Amazon. I personally don't note down what the candidate asked. Ask questions in which your curious about. Please don't ask 'I heard the WLB is horrible at Amazon is it true?'... That is why we have Blind.
If you want to know about the WLB at Amazon, simply look* at how many Amazon buildings clearly have lights on and people moving around after 9pm. *after the lockdown ends
If you had a magic wand to implement or change one thing, what would it be?
