Who are these retards asking for dictatorship in India?
I'm asking in terms of maintaining a good relationship with the company. If you're on track to get officially whacked with a bad review, I think it's better you take matters in your hands and leave. What do you think?
Being fired might make it hard when you get background checked at your next job
They can’t disclose you were fired, HR is only allowed to say if you worked there or not
They can see if you claim unemployment
Waiting to get fired seems like a cowards path. Doing so you knowingly drain on the system making it worse for your peers during a long drawn out process. Then apparently lying about is the path forward. All for a small little payout. If you have the option, quit. Then at least you have integrity.
Not everyone is well off, if your living pay check to pay check it’s a different story
Hence the “if you have the option.” I’m all for people staying and trying to right things as well. But that doesn’t sound like what’s being discussed.
The last thing you want is a pip. It is no joke, leave when you still can. Agreed with cout<<.
Leave, then come back to another team if you want in a year
Not an option for me. I lost interest and I can't imagine myself working there again.
Milk it while you can. Plan your next move and interview around but do not leave until you have another offer in hand or you get kicked out. 🍆
If you think it will end poorly then start looking for another job and hope you find one and can quit before you get fired. If you start looking now that should be definitely achievable if you’re not currently in pip.
Definitely don't wait till you get fired, but a really bad review still only lands you on a pip. You'll have a ton of time to interview and resign before the thing ends.
If you are ok with a pip, then stay. If you don't want the risk of getting put on a pip, then leave.
Can someone explain for me what pip is? Do people need to be informed or sign any paperwork when out on a pip?
Maintain good relationship for what? So they take you back somehow, I’d rather get fired and get unemployment
Can you get unemployment if you've been fired
