I know it goes against popular advice to do this, but I’m personally not happy and it’s somewhat affecting my health. I’ve secured onsites at multiple smaller startups and it’s such a hassle to schedule something without drawing too much attention. For those who did this, how did it workout for you? Question for recruiters: is it a red flag to you when someone quit their job to go full time looking?
Dont do that. Use your current position to leverage. You might feel it is hard at first but it is doable depending on how you organize your time
Yes. Accurate. You'll get a job anywhere you want but you might have to settle for suboptimal pay if they know you are 'between jobs' right now.
Go ahead and go for it. If you hate your job so much why stay? Just quit and find a new one. Meanwhile enjoy the time off. Folks like you can find a job anywhere.
don’t quit. take pto
Take a long vacation but use it to prepare and interview. You would have health insurance and other perks. Then at the end decide if you need more time .
Do it.
Don’t do it
Do it.
Don’t do it.
Do it.
