I am starting to think Chinese interviewers currently fail non-Chinese candidates on purpose.

It used to be great when it was new and you could troll the Silicon Valley illuminati. People really thought it might become the new Google. Nowadays a lot of the answers there are very old, and you have to sift through a lot of crap to find good information. Requiring users to sign in to read the answers is very annoying. This was a terrible design decision. Overall Quora is a big disappointment.
Spot on.
This question needs an answer from an Indian IIT topper who's a student of life and a machine learning enthusiast and thinks about what it is to be human in his free time. You need his answer which will start with a story from his hard tough past that taught him valuable lessons. A story that at the beginning, might feel not related to the question, but as you read more and more and get to end of it, you realize you're right, it IS unrelated to your question. Throw in a few images with motivational fridge-magnet quotes and a poorly photoshopped background, and you'll figure out the answer to your question!

It has turned into yahoo answers. Linkedin slowly treading that path with alll the virtue signaling and bs thank you posts.
Yahoo Answers was actually better UX/UI and community
Yahoo Answers was 4chan for kids back in the day
LinkedIn is next..
LinkedIn has better formatting and grammar. It's polished garbage.
there are still somewhat valuable gems on there that were posted from credible ppl from like before ~2017. but ya it's a mess now. i used to really like it, too
My favorite part of Quora is all the racists and ultra-nationalists constantly trying to pass off fake news and revisionism as the objective truth using made-up credentials in all the history/politics/military questions.
Most comments are trash-tier copy+paste plagiarization from an equally terrible source, or people trying to win Internet points when they have zero expertise on the subject and have nothing more to share than a boring and irrelevant personal anecdote. Either the authors have reading comprehension issues or they do not intend to honestly answer the question. Any non-delusional person should stay away from the new Yahoo! Answers. Go to Wikipedia and StackExchange for at least half-decent quality on serious topics. If you want a ranking algorithm for entertainment, Reddit offers better content.
That's exactly right. I used to answer math and programming questions on there a lot but I couldn't stand seeing the godawful content just scrolling around.
Not to mention it's a bunch of Indian people answering things in an Indian context. "Well in india" idgaf about india.
