Your recent C-level hire is ⊠waaaaay beyond questionable! 1. Thanks for helping us get rid of him! 2. WHAT HAVE YOU BROUGHT UPON YOURSELVES But again, as someone whoâs directly affected by him, thank you for saving me
Is he that bad? This is the second post that Iâm seeing about good riddance
I made more than 2 friends at work because of him. We started bonding on shared trauma caused by him đ so yeah that bad
Lmao
Not fair. Can we remove the name?
I need the tea...thereâs nothing publicly avail. Donât name names...just curious whatâs the beef??
Easy to find in a quick google search. Heâs a total douche. I remember when he was pushing us to release a feature, pressuring everyone on the team to work over the weekend and after 7 pm for weeks, and at the same time he was in Hawaii with a post about how important it is to decompress and enjoy slow relaxing days sometimes. He deleted it since then, but his profile is full of cringe and crap đ©
Shoot - canât find much. I did see the video about his being a âtherapistâ but itâs low info.
Shorting bear coming đ»
Ohh. While we are thanking let's also pay our dues to pinterest for hiring the AI moron and his followers. All the Yahoo scum in ai has made LinkedIn a political ground where writing documents only is key to success.
Oh, you mean Big D and his gang? So true!
Writing documents rather than quality code delivery is the new key to success - I've seen it at many bigger companies by now (all full of B$ politics). This makes me question my choice of profession - software engineering becomes passé - blabbering creates impact! Also, all that time spent talking about diversity and inclusion and filling fixed quotas in the name of it instead of focusing on true talent - makes me truly sick. We're living in crazy times.
Itâs not as if Nextdoor wasnât already a cesspool.
Hi
I resemble that remark!
All we can do is give them the benefit of the doubt at this moment and see what happens next.
Shits like him donât even deserve that. My advice to you: if youâre going to be interacting with him directly, then his the LC again and leave!!! So many celebratory posts on our LinkedIn blind private forum! People are so happy he left!
What are his weaknesses and strengths?
the guy stayed at Linkedin for 10 years and thrived. He must be doing something right that is good for the company. I have complained of many such people, but the fact remains, they are rich and successful and Iâm not.
I wish thatâs the case. When gangs form, and start protecting each other, and when quid pro quo deals are the norm, you donât need to be competent, you just need to be part of the gang.
How can to get by for so long if you're not competent? All the managers I talked with were super excited that he's joining Nextdoor.
Nextdoor sucks. Ex-user
Against blind policy to name people
Rephrasing - Product Area?
