But I don’t think all of a sudden all the airline industry will go bankrupt. There will be something from the government to try and rescue the industry am betting on that for the investment point of view . I believe the stock will have one increase whenever that happens may be from $10 to $15 or $20. Which is good return if that happens . Warren Buffett best quote greedy when everyone else is fearful 👍
A rescue likely won’t benefit the investors though look at what happened to shareholders of the auto companies when the government stepped in. The airlines will survive yes but your shares may not survive or may be severely diluted once the government steps in.
I am buying some. But out of all airlines it is one of the worst financially speaking. A bail out would wipe out shareholder value. Check out Fannie Mae
Risky business. If they end up needing a bailout it’s the shareholders that will be punished.
